2014 Annual Report
and Financial Statements

Our Annual Report and Financial Statements highlight our objectives, achievements and activities during the last twelve months.

From Our CEO

Our Annual Report and Financial Statements outline what we’ve achieved during the last year and exactly how all income was spent.

The past 12 months have brought new challenges and new opportunities for Plan Ireland. During this period, thanks to you, we have been able to respond to more emergencies, educate more children, implement more protection programmes and assist more communities to be lifted from poverty.

Throughout our core programmes countries in West Africa we have expanded our delivery of life changing support to children and their families through sustainable high quality programmes.

This last year has also been noteworthy for the implementation of our largest ever emergency response initiative. Following the devastating impact caused by Typhoon Haiyan in the Philippines, we assisted hundreds of thousands of people with immediate basic necessities and with longer term recovery projects.

We know that without your support, we simply couldn’t provide this help. Therefore, every effort is made to ensure as much of your donation as possible goes to our front line work. This year, for every €1 generated, 93 cent was spent direct programme costs.

Over the course of the next 12 months, Plan Ireland will continue to strive for continuous improvement to deliver on our goal of helping more of the world’s most vulnerable people.

Many thanks for your continued support.
