Because I am a Girl I ask … too many questions about things I don’t need to know, but want to know anyway – and I think others should too!
Because I am a Girl I believe … that rather than dwelling on our downfalls we should celebrate and flaunt what we’re good at… A brag is better than a bitch!
Because I am a Girl I hope … I’m never placed anywhere just to make up a gender quota – I can justifiably stand my ground so let me… Ovaries shouldn’t come into it.
Because I am a Girl I wonder … how can I live happier, laugh louder and work harder every single day – but then realise that I’m only human and am allowed have bad days!
Because I am a Girl I dream … about the future rather than what might have been in the past.
Because I am a Girl I remember … how lucky I am to do what I do and get paid for it.
Because I am a Girl I like … stationery. There are few things in life that make me happier than a good pen!
Because I am a Girl I dislike … stereotypes. Young people in Ireland are often cast in a bad light by our media. This makes every young person an underdog, having to fight an unjustified tag of “lazy, layabout” before they even begin.
Because I am a Girl I feel … proud of what I’ve achieved to date and sometimes overwhelmed by what I have yet to do.
Because I am a Girl I celebrate… every opportunity that comes my way.
