Because I am a Girl I ask … everything. Never be afraid to question something or to ask for help or information.

Because I am a Girl I believe … in equality and compassion. Treat others the way you want to be treated.

Because I am a Girl I hope … for a future where all girls and women feel safe, respected and equal.

Because I am a Girl I wonder … all the time. Imagination is where it’s at.

Because I am a Girl I dream … big.

Because I am a Girl I remember … to get over it and get on with it. To forgive, but not to forget and to never ever give up.

Because I am a Girl I like …  respect.

Because I am a Girl I dislike … unfairness and bullshit.

Because I am a Girl I feel … it is time women were given the freedom to make decisions about their own bodies and not live under the pressures of states and religions.

Because I am a Girl I celebrate …  our female heroes past, present and future – the revolutionaries, activists, freedom fighters, writers and artists who have given and continue to give women a voice.
