Plan operates in El Salvador since 1976, supporting girls, kids, teens and youth from the most vulnerable areas of the country. During this time, Plan has invested over 211 million dollars to contribute to community development centered on the rights of children.
During 2013, Plan’s work has benefited 510.911 people (of which 144,656 are girls and 143,584 are boys) of 436 communities in 62 municipalities from five departments: San Salvador, La Libertad, Chalatenango, Cuscatlan and Cabañas.
