Mairéad Butler is studying a BA in European Studies, with a major in Spanish and a minor in German, in Trinity College Dublin, where she is a 2022 Laidlaw Scholar. Mairéad has been a member of the Plan International Ireland Youth Advisory Panel (YAP) since January 2021 and she represented Plan Ireland at the 2021 International Day of the Girl "takeover" of An Taoiseach Micheál Martin's office. Mairéad was appointed to the Board in April 2023."
