Plan International is a child-centred NGO working in 51 developing countries. With an emphasis on long term sustainable development and emergency response, Plan International assists children and their communities across a range of programmes in areas such as education, child protection, livelihoods and child protection.

The Role

You will lead the Programme Department providing strategic direction and vision to grow our development and humanitarian portfolio.

The Programme Department has seen substantial growth over the past five years and is targeting income of €10m this year from donors as diverse as Irish Aid, EU, ECHO and WFP.  Key thematic areas include education, inclusion, child protection and disaster risk management (DRM); and geographic focus includes (but is not limited to) West Africa and Asia.
