Aislin Mitchell
Business Development Intern

A keen traveller, Aislin joined Plan International Ireland after completing her MA in Humanitarian Action in UCD. Aislin is passionate about promoting the rights of children with disabilities in emergencies.

Aislin joined Plan International Ireland in May 2016 after graduating with a Masters in Humanitarian Action from UCD. She also holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science (Honours) in Animal Science.

With some previous experience on the Emergency Response side Aislin has joined Plan International Ireland as a Business Development Intern, assisting with programme support and monitoring small grants.  Aislin is very passionate about Disability Inclusion in Emergencies and would like to see an increase in awareness around this subject.

Aislin enjoys reading, photography and watching Rugby (although she is too afraid to participate!). Aislin is also a keen animal activist supporting as many animal organisations as her bank balance allows! Volunteering and challenging herself has always been part of Aislin’s life, participating in numerous charity skydives/marathons.

Having spent many summers in America and travelling across Europe, Aislin caught the travel bug and hopes to one day visit every country in the world.
