Calling All Young People

Aged between 16 and 21, with an interest in development? We want you for our Youth Advisory Panel!

What’s it all about?

The Youth Advisory Panel (YAP) is a group of 10 young people aged 16-21 years old who represent the views and voices of young people all over the Ireland.

YAP members campaign for youth rights by speaking at events, doing press work and advising Plan International Ireland on campaigns. YAP members stand shoulder to shoulder with young campaigners all around the world -asking decision makers to put their words into action.

They also advise Plan International Ireland on how to improve the way the charity works, by making sure they keep their promise to put children at the heart of what they do.

If you answer yes to these three questions, then we want you …

Do you have an interest in global development?

Do you believe that girls and boys should have the same rights?

Do you want to make change happen in Ireland?

What’s next?

Download the Application Form and send it back to our Development Education Officer Rebecca O’Halloran by emailing rebecca.ohalloran@plan-international.org.

If you want to discuss the Youth Advisory Panel, why not give Rebecca a call on 086 882 3765

We look forward to receiving you application by 25th March 2016.
